Susan says
My department (math) has never talked about teaching. ever. I’ve tried. It’s hopeless. (I’ve been in the department for 20 years.) They talk about scheduling, textbook selection, administration mandates, etc. I’ve had to find things like this place, conferences, and other individuals in other departments to talk/work with. I have presented about my high impact practices for the college and outside venues for the past 20 years.
