SCHOLAR IN RESIDENCE
Bonni Stachowiak is a Scholar in Residence at the University of Michigan - Dearborn's Hub for Teaching and Learning Resources during the Fall of 2023. She is focused on generative artificial intelligence and ChatGPT in higher education teaching and learning contexts.
The resources on this page combine existing Teaching in Learning episodes, along with new knowledge and reflections as they emerge from Bonni's role as Scholar in Residence at the University of Michigan - Dearborn's Hub for Teaching and Learning Resources.
In the Fall of 2023, three DigPed at Dearborn learning community events will take place where Bonni will lead conversations around specific topics regarding ChatGPT and generative AI with special guests from the University of Michigan - Dearborn campus. DigPed at Dearborn is a digital teaching community at the Dearborn campus which is focused on critical perspectives, teaching with digital tools, and empowering student voices. This Fall’s DigPed meetings will also benefit from coordination and facilitation from Dr. Maya Barak.
DIGPED AT DEARBORN SESSIONS
Three DigPed at Dearborn sessions will focus on AI and ChatGPT, facilitated by Bonni:
- 1. September 15, 2023, 1pm ET with special guests from the Hub and faculty with assignment ideas.
- 2. October 20, 2023, 1pm ET with special guests from the Dearborn student body.
- 3. November 3, 2023, 1pm ET for an open/reflection session.
