Thank you so much for an enjoyable and informative episode on evidence-based teaching practices! For listeners who teach foreign languages, I highly recommend the May 2021 issue of Mind Brain Ed Think Tanks entitled “Exploring Evidence-Based Strategies for Language Learning.” The issue begins with links to two vidoes, one featuring Todd Zakrajsek, who has also been a guest on Teaching in Higher Ed. In the Mind Brain Ed Think Tank articles, the authors explore theoretical aspects of evidence-based learning and give concrete tips for foreign language teachers and learners. Both the videos and articles are very accessible, and I feel instructors from other disciplines could also gain useful insights.
