Dr. Maria Andersen has spent most of her career teaching, writing curriculum, and developing digital products for learning. Dr. Andersen has degrees in Chemistry, Environmental Biology, Mathematics, Business Administration, and Education Leadership. After 10 years as a college professor, she stepped out of academia to embrace online learning and the underlying technologies behind it. Dr. Andersen worked in the EdTech industry for 10 years, including founding and bringing a company (Coursetune) to a successful exit. Recently she returned to the classroom, having new teaching adventures in K-12 middle and high school.
