Mark Hofer is currently the Sallie Gertrude Smoot Spears Term Distinguished Associate Professor of Educational Technology in the School of Education at the College of William & Mary. He is also the Associate Dean for Teacher Education and Professional Services. He teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate teacher education program as well as in the Curriculum and Educational Technology doctoral program. Prior to coming to William & Mary, he was an Assistant Professor of Instructional Technology in the College of Education at Towson University. He completed his Ph.D in Instructional Technology at the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia where he studied with Glen Bull at the Center for Technology in Teacher Education.
