Dr. Lori Latrice Martin is associate professor in the Department of Sociology and African and African American Studies at Louisiana State University. Dr. Martin was recently promoted to full professor, effective August 15, 2018. Her research areas are race and ethnicity, racial wealth inequality and black asset poverty, and race and sports. Dr. Martin is the author of numerous scholarly works.
