Bonnie Stewart is an education researcher and practitioner fascinated by who we are when we’re online. Coordinator of Adult Teaching and Professional Learning at the University of Prince Edward Island, where she completed her Ph.D in Educational Studies, Bonnie leads digital strategy and professional learning initiatives. Her research focuses primarily on digital literacies, networked scholarship, and the intersections of knowledge and technologies. A networked educator who began working in online education in the 1990s, Bonnie was involved with Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) research in its early Canadian incarnations. Bonnie has published in Salon.com, The Guardian UK, and Inside Higher Ed in addition to a variety of peer-reviewed venues, and he does her best thinking aloud on Twitter as @bonstewart.
