Melanie Sage is an Assistant Professor at the University at Buffalo School of Social Work. She loves teaching with technology, innovating in the classroom, and inspiring learners to take healthy risks. She is co-author of the text Teaching Social Work with Digital Technology, and is Director of the UB Institute on Healthy Engagement and Resilience with Technology (iHeartTech for short!) As a child welfare researcher, the focus of her work is on ways that technology can best support foster youth, including understanding the skills they need for digital resilience and healthy online relationships.
