Josh Brake

Josh Brake loves teaching, big imaginations, and the next generation of engineers and entrepreneurs. He is an Associate Professor of Engineering at Harvey Mudd College, where he works to cultivate the next generation of engineering leaders, helping them couple technical excellence with an awareness of the impact of their work on society. He is also a Venture Partner with Praxis, joining their mission to advance redemptive quests with a specific focus on how artificial intelligence plays a role. At night he writes, and on Monday evenings, you can find him finishing up the next post for his Substack, The Absent-Minded Professor where he writes weekly manifestos about technology, education, and human flourishing.
