Justin Stewart

Justin Stewart is a Faculty Career Coach for Allen Ivy Prep consulting and the co-editor of We're Not OK: Black Faculty Experiences and Higher Education Strategies. His work in higher education began in 2016, working at Georgia State University where he assisted the project coordinator in the department's national / international recruitment for faculty and post-doctoral fellows. This background transitioned to Allen Ivy Prep, currently helping potential, new and experienced candidates in their search for faculty positions, along with non-academic positions, by reviewing and developing CVs, cover letters, teaching philosophies, etc to create the best first impression for their desired institution.  Alongside his work in education, Justin is also in the corporate banking industry, as part of the Technology Business Unit Risk Management (Tech BURM), where he serves as an independent first line of defense risk partner within Enterprise Technology to identify risks, assess change initiatives and evaluate controls to ensure a compliant technology control environment for the bank.
