Dom Conroy is an Associate Lecturer at The Open University. Dom has expertise in qualitative and mixed methods research and has conducted health-related research focusing on alcohol consumption, non-drinking and sobriety among young adults. Dom has led several projects designed to promote engaging, accessible, inclusive environments for higher education learners including work concerning educational podcasts, work on links between connectedness, mental health and academic achievement, and work on closing the ethnicity-linked graduate outcome gap. Over the last 15 years, Dom has produced over 40 peer reviewed articles, chapters and books. Dom was lead editor of Young Adult Drinking Styles which won a British Medical Association category award in 2021.
